Share
This Fall, Music Educates embarked on a daring mission to bring the magic of music to the Shrine of St. Anne's School. This K-8 institution, previously devoid of any band program, is now buzzing with excitement as students prepare to unleash their musical talents. St Annes, is a prestigious private school nestled in the heart of old town Arvada.
The school needed Music Educates to design and operate all facets of the program--a complete turn key band! Zach Robarge, hired by Music Educates, is creating an environment of learning including learning the proper way to play and practice wind instruments, how to read sheet music, all about the joys of performing and the importance of teamwork when playing in an ensemble.
What's the plan?
Twice a week, before the school day even begins, the budding musicians from St. Anne's will come together to practice and learn. Each student has carefully selected an instrument from Golden Music as is ready to dive headfirst into the world of band music!
What sparked this musical revolution?
Administrator, Dana Ellis always wanted a band. With Music Educates support it has been very easy to get it going. Right now there are 20 enrolled! Golden Music provided the instruments and now the students of St. Anne's School are about to embark on a thrilling journey into the world of music.
It's a challenge, no doubt. But challenges are what make life exciting, right? The thrill of learning something new, the rush of mastering a difficult piece, the joy of creating music with others – these are the rewards that await the brave souls who dare to join the band!
