Golden Music Helps Program Get Started Spring 2025

Violins were playing in our school this Spring!  Annoucing the start of an orchestra program! 

Spearheaded by Nathan Mays, an experienced strings player and teacher at Mountain Song school, students in his class experiemented with violins provided free from Golden Music for two months in class.  In the Fall, there will be an instrument “petting zoo” where they can to try out a rthe other instruments in the string family too, before making their selection.

“My main goals for this program are to increase the rigor of musical study at Mountain Song for the students, provide more avenues for students to experience creativity, teamwork and performance, and to create a more streamlined path for students who wish to continue musical study,” Mr. Mays said.
