I’m really excited to share this!
As many of you know, a small group of us traveled to Tanzania to start up a music program at a couple of schools back in March. We managed to hire a local music teacher and donated a bunch of instruments to get the program started and it’s been going so well! They’ve only been playing since March!
This project is really starting to take off and I’m so excited to see it grow. We are hoping to make another trip sometime in 2025 to bring more instruments and help continue this program.
Another cool thing to mention, is that these students now have the opportunity to pursue music as a career/focus in their studies. I’m one proud music teacher!
