PART-TIME TEACHER WANTED - two full days per week
Are you a passionate musician with a heart for teaching? Do you believe in the transformative power of music?
If so, Cardinal Community Academy in Keenesburg, Colorado, is searching for a special person just like you to take on the role of their new music teacher! This K-8 charter school, which has been a cornerstone of the community for 25 years, is ready to welcome someone who can inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians.
As the new music teacher, you will have the incredible opportunity to step into the shoes of a beloved educator who has shaped the music program for years. This is not just a job; it’s a chance to ignite a passion for music in young hearts and minds. Imagine the joy of watching students discover their musical talents. You will be in charge of K-2 general music and choir, 1st-7th instrument introduction (like on boomwhackers and recorders) and choir, 5th grade introductory band and middle school band and choir. There is usually a spring concert and a Christmas concert, besides a spring musical that may also include band and/or choir. They also want someone who can support a little bit of piano, guitar, and a burgeoning interest in bowed strings.
This part-time position offers flexibility, with classes scheduled two days a week. While the school is currently considering Tuesday and Wednesday or Thursday and Friday, they are open to negotiations to find the best fit for both you and the school. Salary is negotiable.
If you are ready to embark on this exciting journey and make a lasting impact on the lives of young musicians, we want to hear from you! Join us in creating a musical legacy at Cardinal Community Academy, where every note played and every song sung contributes to a brighter future for our students. Are you ready to take the leap?
